Lime Venue Portfolio launch ‘Christmas with Sparkle Campaign’ with Meeting Needs

Richard Kadri-Langford, Head of Marketing at LVP
Lime Venue Portfolio (LVP) has launched its 2016 Christmas campaign with a three peak challenge for event professionals. Led by Richard Kadri-Langford, Head of Marketing at LVP, the three day, three mountain challenge will also involve three meetings with clients, customers and supporters of the brand.

The challenge is part of a wider campaign developed between Lime Venue Portfolio, Meeting Needs (MN), and Happy Days, one of MN’s partner charities, who create unique experiences for disabled or disadvantaged children. The campaign, ‘Christmas with Sparkle’, is running throughout September to raise up to £2,500 for Happy Days.

The challenge itself will take place 27th – 29th August and kick off the ‘Christmas with Sparkle’ campaign by encouraging adventure driven event professionals to join the meetings on top of Britain’s tallest mountains, Ben Nevis (27th), Scafell Pike (28th) and Snowden (29th) on each day. For those that can’t make it LVP have committed to donating £10 for every enquiry taken in September that quotes the #sparkle*.

As well as the donation from LVP, and monies raised on the three peaks, venues within the portfolio will have collection boxes throughout the campaign, all of which will help Lime Venue Portfolio reach its £2,500 commitment to Meeting Needs.

“As meetings and events professionals, we’re lucky enough to be a part of creating the very best experiences, every day. So the idea of supporting a charity whose mission is to provide disadvantaged children with great experiences really resonated with us,” commented Richard. “It’s a great way to launch our Christmas campaign and I’m looking forward to having three of the highest meetings of the year in the space of three days!”
