According to the latest figures the Inntel client spend between 1 January and 30 June 2016 was up 11% on the same period last year, while the company revenue increased by 6%. The majority of the increase is attributable to a 20% rise in spend on conference related business travel and a 12% increase in spending on accommodation.
Jane Dibble, Director of Business Development at Inntel, said: ‘Our first quarter results suggested that the rapid growth trajectory we had been on for a year would continue, and these six month figures show that we were right to be positive. I am equally sure that this period of growth is far from over, particularly as we have secured new client contracts of £7m in recent months.’
In addition to the recent successes, the company’s confidence is due to its remarkably robust customer base. Inntel has managed to retain 95% of its existing clients in an industry that would consider 70% retention a significant achievement and was recently ranked number 5 on the Conference & Incentive Travel (C&IT) league table of the UK’s Top 20 Agencies by client spend.
