Created by entrepreneurs Robin Moss and Jordan Emery after seeing the queues and poor service at bars for drinks at festivals, have developed cutting-edge self-service bar technology for venues and events. Eliminating the need for set up and staffing of bars onsite, they have launched the world’s first mass-serve, mobile bar.
“We want to modernise the event & licensed venue landscape and Flowbot is going to give brands, venues and events a bespoke self-service bar option that improves both the customer and client experience!” Moss concluded.
“With an average transaction time of less than 30 seconds, Flowbot is proven to increase customer spend by up to 100%, and we accept credit and debit cards, ApplePay, contactless & pre-paid RFID payments, so also perfect for incentive events too. By digitalising the bar experience, our solutions offer unparalleled promotional potential by leveraging big data.” added Moss
Launched at Cheltenham Festival earlier in the year and recently used at Silverstone for the F1 Grand Prix, Flowbot 1 is also aimed at large outdoor events including music festivals, sports events, stadiums and high capacity licensed venues.
Built into a 10ft shipping container, Flowbot 1 can serve a queue-busting 1000 pints an hour with only 2 staff and stores 5,500 pints of beer, cider or wine, which are chilled and dispensed via 8 self-serving points using touch screens and cashless payments. “All that’s needed is a ‘plug and play’ mentality from our event clients, we simply stock the bar, pitch up and are ready to go.” says Robin Moss.
The technology uses cashless payments, therefore increases revenues, reduces operating costs and provides huge promotional and data potential for events & venues. The system also eliminates over-pouring, spillage and theft.
