London’s leading helicopter tour company launches a luxury package in conjunction with Royal Botanic Gardens, KewThe London Helicopter has launched three exclusive new luxurious ‘Kew Gardens Picnic Packages’ offering a chance to see London from the air, a deluxe picnic box or indulgent hamper filled with all the treats needed for a sumptuous al fresco feast and the option of luxury transfers to and from the world-famous botanic gardens.
After being collected from any central London location and whisked to the heliport in a private, high-end car (Luxury Picnic Packages options only), passengers will board the helicopter for a birds-eye tour of the capital followed by an elegant garden picnic in London’s largest UNESCO World Heritage Site – Kew Gardens.
There are two types of gourmet picnic provided – the Deluxe Picnic Box and Luxury Picnic Hamper - each including everything needed for sophisticated picnic dining, champagne or prosecco, soft drinks and an array of gourmet, gastronomical delights. The latter option is a traditional wicker hamper containing crockery, cutlery, wine glasses, napkins, wine cooler bag, bottle opener and a picnic rug, which are all the guests to take home and keep.

Deluxe Picnic Package: An 18 minute London Sights flight, car transfer from The London Helicopter to Kew Gardens, entrance to Kew and the Deluxe Picnic Box. Prices from £595 for two people flying on a shared London Sights flight, and £1,195 for an exclusive hire London Sights flight.
Luxury Picnic Package: Car transfer from central London to the London Heliport, an 18 minute London Sights flight on an exclusive hire basis, car transfer to Kew Gardens, entrance to Kew Gardens, Luxury Picnic Hamper and car transfer return to central London (max six hours total). Prices from £1,820 for two people.
Luxury To The Max Picnic Package: Car transfer from central London to the London Heliport, a 30 minute London Max flight on an exclusive hire basis, car transfer to Kew Gardens, entrance to Kew Gardens, Luxury Picnic Hamper and car transfer return to central London (max six hours total). Prices from £2,320 for two people.
The delights in the Deluxe Picnic Box (for two people) include pesto, rocket and parmesan orecchiette salad; smoked chicken Caesar salad; roast salmon with spiced couscous and harissa yoghurt; courgette, red onion and goats cheese tartlet; smoked salmon crispbreads and beetroot chutney; roast lamb, chilli roast squash and salsa verde; pork, black pudding and apple sausage roll; tomato relish; sourdough bread; cheese and prosciutto with chutney, fruit and oatcakes; lemon curd, vanilla yoghurt and crumble; milk and dark chocolate mousse; a bottle of prosecco; still and sparkling water and pink lemonade.
The delectable goodies in the Luxury Picnic Hamper* (for two people) are provided along with a traditional wicker hamper with leather straps, containing crockery, cutlery, wine glasses, napkins, cooler bag, bottle opener and a picnic rug. The selection of food will include duck rillettes with cranberries, Grand Marnier & fresh bread; black truffle prosciutto, organic Ventricina salami, salami di Parma, bell peppers, olives, butter beans antipasti selection; Scotch reserved salmon gravlax, Aruga caviar and mini blinis; quiche with Hepburn’s maple cured bacon and sautéed leeks; classic egg and cress, ham & English mustard, mature cheddar and pickle, sliced bloomer sandwiches; tomato & mozzarella caprese salad; green vegetable salad with honey dressing; carrot cake; sugar coated praline; raspberry macaroons; strawberry & cream marshmallows and champagne truffles. The drinks include Bollinger Champagne Rosé; Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Alain Jaume & Fils 2010; Petit Clos, Marlborough, Sauvignon Blanc, 2014, still and sparkling water and pink lemonade.
