The campaign was designed to celebrate all those who make the world a beautiful place to be. #wemakehappy encouraged Londoners to share thoughtful messages with their loved ones.
Individuals were given the opportunity to write a loving message to the special people in their lives. Recipients were subsequently surprised with an invitation to pick up their message at a special event where they could celebrate with the sender, helping Kipling spread their infectious message of joy.
The activation needed to be as visually striking as 2015’s activities, which saw Kipling lay a 300 metre, multi-coloured carpet across London Bridge.
For 2016, WONDER London created a larger than life balloon installation on London’s South Bank. This vibrant, brightly-coloured spectacle, offered the general public the chance to engage with the #wemakehappy campaign.
The event ran throughout the day, managed by the WONDER London Team. Brand Ambassadors engaged with passers-by through a special competition to win Kipling products and spread the #wemakehappy message.
