Consolidation, live events and SMM boosted CWT M&E’s European bottom lineCWT Meetings & Events had a strong 2015 in the UK, Ireland & EMEA regions, with revenue growth of 19 per cent.
The UK & Ireland team’s live events business grew by 74 per cent in 2015 due to some great new wins and repeat custom from clients who were impressed with their end-to-end service.
CWT Meetings & Events UK, Ireland & EMEA saw an increase in requests to support and consult on the development of an SMM (strategic meetings management) programme for major corporations with large geographical footprints in 2015.
This success was seen mostly across the major European economies plus some of the emerging markets such as Poland and Hungary. The fact that major global organisations are continuing to choose CWT Meetings & Events when looking to consolidate spend for travel and events under one agency also contributed to the strong growth.
This news follows the recent announcement of the 12 per cent global growth of CWT Meetings & Events’ business.
