WRG joins The Healthcare Meetings Forum

Rob Bagust
The Healthcare Meetings Forum has invited leading experiential agency WRG to join their steering committee to bring their expertise in creating award winning engagement and communication programmes to the 2016 Forum.
The Healthcare Meetings Forum is an independent committee of healthcare sector corporate organisations, medical societies and specialist agencies, formed in 2013 to provide insight and identify trends in the changing landscape of the healthcare industry.

The Forum provides an unbiased view of medical meetings, with evidence from experts used to better understand and deliver healthcare meetings and events.

Rob Bagust, Head of Congress will represent WRG on the committee, bringing with him over ten years’ experience in events for the healthcare sector.

Chris Gosling, Head of Healthcare at WRG said: “We have been impressed with the traction the Healthcare Meetings Forum has gained in the sector over the last few years. We’re delighted the Healthcare Forum has invited us to take up a place on the committee; healthcare is one of the areas where we’re seeing significant growth in our business.”

“It’s a great opportunity to gain insight into the sector from our peers. We aim to bring a new and exciting voice, adding a little ‘disruption’ to the thinking in the sector. The work the events industry contributes to healthcare is certainly some of the most exciting there is.”

Mark Handforth at the Healthcare Meetings Forum said: “We invited WRG to join the committee as we felt the experience and creativity they bring is invaluable to the content we want to bring to our audience. With over 25 years experience operating across a range of sectors, WRG have a wealth of knowledge and creative expertise to share.”

“We plan a series of expert roundtables in Q1 and Q2 2016, with a full forum in Q4 2016, focussing on the evidence around the results of the European transparency directive. WRG and particularly Rob Bagust, have valuable creative insight and expertise. We want to harness this, demonstrating how today’s healthcare events use cutting edge creativity to deliver scientific messaging in an engaging way.“
