Inspired by the Olympic city of Rio de Janeiro, sports by tlc an event specialist that focus its activities on sports-related solutions on the Iberian-Peninsula and Latin America, presents the 2nd edition of IMEXrun this time in IMEX America in Las Vegas, that will take place on the iconic Strip on October 14th at 06:30 am.

When IMEX America attendees hit the Strip for the popular meetings industry show next month, they’ll be doing more than just networking and flexing their muscles – they’ll also have the opportunity to join in the first-ever IMEXrun Las Vegas. The event concept was developed and will be organized by sports by tlc, driven by its strong belief in the unique ability that sport has to enhance corporate responsibility, personal development and the practice of a healthier life. The run will be sponsored by Rio de Janeiro city through Embratur, Rio´s City Hall, Rio Tur and Rio Convention & Visitors Bureau, promoting the 2016 Olympic city.

The IMEXrun Las Vegas is open to all, and builds on the successful riverside IMEXrun Frankfurt in the spring of this year that attracted over 450 participants.

Designed to combine fun, fitness and Vegas panache, the 5km route will begin and end at the scenic Venetian® outdoor bridge & gondolas, passing on the Strip. Refreshments and fresh fruit “reception” will be provided at the finish line to refuel the runners before their day at the show.

“As meetings professionals we run hard every day at work and on the road and wellness is a topic that is important not only in our own lives and careers but also as an important facet of the client and company programs we are creating,” said Carina Bauer CEO of IMEX. “We think the IMEXrun Las Vegas captures the dynamic, caring, strong, and community-driven spirit of our industry, and will provide a fun and energizing way for people to kick off their second morning at the show.”
