Carlsberg Group appoints American Express GBT as global travel management partner

American Express Global Business Travel (“GBT”) today announced that it has been selected to provide travel management services to the Carlsberg Group, the fourth largest brewery in the world, with a presence in 150 markets and with 45,000 employees globally.

GBT will provide the Carlsberg Group with a comprehensive travel management programme under a global agreement covering the following areas:
• Dedicated service teams including online and mobile booking capabilities
• Meeting & Events services
• Consulting Services including Sourcing and Optimisation support
• CSR including proactive Duty of Care solutions  

The following markets went live on September 1: Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
