Kuoni Destination Management shows the best of British to 1600 high-performers

At the height of the summer holiday season, Kuoni Destination Management successfully helped beauty company Oriflame welcome 1600 of its highest performing people to London this month (10-15 August 2015). Over five days and helped by Kuoni Destination Management, Oriflame shared its latest product news and corporate updates, as well as rewarding and celebrating success with consultants from Turkey and markets across Asia and Africa

Tatyana Mikhnovska, Kuoni Destination Management’s Senior Project Manager for the UK, says: “Every year, Oriflame incentivises its consultants with the promise of several days at their expense in one of the world’s most popular destinations. It is vital that guests have a world-class experience and that business and social elements exceed their expectations, so they continue to understand the benefit of being high achievers. Oriflame entrusted the reputation of their brand and products to us and I think we exceeded their expectations.”

Hundreds of guests flew into London Gatwick and Heathrow on 10 August where they were met by Kuoni Destination Management and Oriflame to be sped to their central London hotels. Kuoni Destination Management’s long-standing relationships, its experience and reputation for bringing business to hotels around the world, ensured that global hotel chains Hilton and Melia had availability at this busy time of year in some of their most prestigious properties.

Over the first two days, Oriflame shared updates on its skin care and wellness product lines and all of the tools they have launched to support independent consultant businesses. Kuoni Destination Management arranged the usual presentation and speaker facilities, as well as transport, tours and social occasions.

For many of the delegates, this was their first visit to London and Kuoni Destination Management also arranged a number of sightseeing opportunities. Mandarin-speaking guides and 10 full-size coaches took Chinese guests on a tour through 2000 years of history that included Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, and the London Eye, as well as plenty of opportunities for souvenir shopping. The team also offered a concierge service, helping very visitor make the most of their well-earned trip to the UK.

Kuoni Destination Management also brought its expertise to ‘Best of British’ themed gala dinners on the 13 and 14 August, booking royal look-alikes and musical performances from British tribute bands: Queen, the Spice Girls, George Michael and the Beatles. During the evening, Oriflame’s highest performing consultants – a husband and wife team from India – were recognised by a military band fanfare and parade.

Everything from table decorations and thank you bouquets to the outfits worn by models was sourced through Kuoni Destination Management’s enormous knowledge of the services and experiences available in London.

Kuoni Destination Management’s access to a contracted daily allocation of 800 vehicles meant that it could easily manage arrivals and departures of such a large number of guests, as well as transfers between accommodation and the conference venue, tours of the English capital and unrivalled access to the most popular attractions.

Founded in Sweden, Oriflame is today present in more than 60 countries and offers a wide portfolio of Swedish, nature-inspired, innovative and high-quality beauty products through three million independent Oriflame Consultants.
