Daniel Wolter, founder of we.CONECT said: “As a fast growing company in the events industry it is vital for us to attract the right staff to grow our business further. we.CONECT was founded and established in August 2011 with seven employees in the heart of Berlin. In just four years we.CONECT has been built into a highly profitable medium-sized event company with more than 70 employees and customers in 42 countries. We are now opening up an office in London in the beginning of August 2015 in the heart of King's Cross. The growth and development of we.CONECT is reflected strongly in our people. To be seen as one of the best employers in the industry is a great honour for us – especially because this award is based on our people’s votes.”
Claire Wormsley, Director said: “This new category has had unprecedented interest allowing everyone involved in the industry to participate. The sheer volume of nominations makes this one of the covetable awards and a benchmark for best people practices.”
The Conference Awards have become synonymous with excellence in professional conference organising and are backed by a panel of judges including Robin Hough of The Guardian, Nigel Clear, director of conferences Elsevier, and Victoria Rennie, managing director, events, Incisive Media.
