1879 Events Management, a subsidiary of Sunderland AFC, recently provided outside catering at Bond Dickinson’s annual clay pigeon shoot in the grounds of the historic Lambton Estate.
The event, organised by the national law firm’s Newcastle office, was attended by more than 180 staff and stakeholders, who competed throughout the afternoon in 23 teams.
1879 Events Management were on site for more than 13 hours, serving up a packed breakfast and buffet lunch for 30 volunteers, as well as more formal catering for those taking part.
This included a champagne reception and a bespoke, three course lunch with options including a ham hock terrine, herb and butter roasted breast of barn raised chicken and lemon posset.
The firm, which acts as a full service company for all manner of corporate and private events across the North East, was also able to supply coat rails, glassware, linen and an easel, as well as an experienced team of bar and waiting staff.
As added value, 1879 Event Management offered a number of prizes to be given away on the day, including VIP tickets to see the Foo Fighters at the Stadium of Light, where the company also manages hospitality and events.
