An audience of over 250 corporate event managers, buyers, investors and event organisers enjoyed striking panoramic views of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from the top of the UK's tallest sculpture, with canapés served by the ArcelorMittal Orbit’s in-house caterer, drinks at The Looking Glass Cocktail Club and live music from DJ Tommy Atkins.
Tours were available to showcase The ArcelorMittal Orbit’s versatility and the provision of in-house catering and audio-visual equipment. Photo booth specialist Say Fromage was also on hand to provide entertainment, with guests tweeting or sending a picture to Instagram before the photo was printed from a booth automatically.
Hire Space also launched their new venue-booker reward program called Hire Space Plus. The scheme entitles members to free account management, priority access to offers, deals, new venue alerts and event and showcase invitations.
Will Swannell, Hire Space’s co-founder, comments: "We are delighted with the turnout and the wonderful feedback we've received already for our showcase birthday party. This really demonstrates the increase in event bookers’ and buyers’ preferences for unique venues and quick response times. I would very much like to thank everyone who attended the party and, in particular, our partners on the night, who made our birthday celebration extra special. We'd also like to thank our team, without whom none of this would be possible."
Event production and lighting were supplied by EMS Events, event inspiration from Your Excellency and photography by Roberto Garagarza.
