An increase of £2m boosted the firm’s 2014 turnover, along with a 54% increase in staff, adding 35 people, taking the head count at Cabfind.com Wirral headquarters from 65 to 100.
The increase in turnover is the result of Cabfind.com securing 28 new clients, including Northern Rail, Co-operative Travel Management and Typhoo Tea. The firm has also benefited from improved internal efficiencies throughout the company, which will allow a continued focus on quality of service to meet the needs of the growing client base.
In addition, Cabfind.com has recruited in its customer services and supplier relations team, quality team, with 11 people in the IT department, including 5 developers to scale the IT infrastructure for this fast growing company.
The board of directors has also been strengthened with the appointment of Debbie Thompson as commercial director, Jonathan Brennand as operations director, Jenny Proctor as finance director and James Gallacher has been appointed to IT director.
