Industry heavyweights support marks new event competition as ‘A Must’ for career-minded professionals

MyEvent.Vision, an exciting, new nationwide competition aiming to find creative talent within Britain’s event industry, has proved popular with key industry organisations.  The competition is open to anyone with a completely original and dynamic event concept, with the winner receiving either a freelance, full-time or part-time job offer from Events International Group (EIG) as well as a £5,000 cash prize, investment into the winning vision and the opportunity to benefit financially from its success.

As well as attracting headline sponsorship from global event agency, EIG, MyEvent.Vision has attracted the support of leading event industry and business organisations including EVCOM, BVEP, Britain for Events, ISES UK, EMA, The FT, M&IT, Walt Disney Media+ and Storm Model Management.

The Chairman of MyEvent.Vision’s judging panel, Chad Lion-Cachet, and MD of EIG added, ‘The enthusiasm with which the industry has greeted MyEvent.Vision has been impressive. Anyone thinking of entering the competition shouldn’t see this merely as the chance to win a great prize but as their opportunity to shine in front of key figures in their sector. The format of MyEvent.Vision can be better understood as ‘Dragons’ Den meets The Apprentice’. Entry to the competition is completely open; the strongest submissions will be shortlisted with the people behind the ideas being invited to do a live pitch to an expert judging panel. From this process a winning candidate will be selected.  

To enter simply upload your event idea via the MyEvent.Vision website before 6th February. The shortlisted entries will be announced on 11th February with the judges’ pitch taking place on 27th February and the winner announced at the M&IT Industry Awards on 3rd March.
