Turtle appointed by leading luxury brand Caribtours

Luxury tour operator Caribtours, the UK’s leading luxury travel specialist, has appointed Turtle PR to maximise exposure for the brand within the consumer and trade media.
Turtle won a three-way competitive pitch, to position Caribtours as the ultimate aspirational tour operator, for the Caribbean & Mexico, Indian Ocean and Arabia.

Caribtours creates bespoke travel itineraries with a rigorous attention to detail, across 16 different types of holiday, including family, spa, private touring and responsible tourism. Founded 35 years ago, the Fulham-based company is still privately-owned and managed today.

Turtle will develop a long-term communications strategy for Caribtours. The agency plans to raise the organisation’s profile in the UK’s high end lifestyle, corporate, wedding and trade press, through a planned series of tailored media pitches, proactive press communications, incentives and familiarisation trips.

“With a real passion for the Caribbean and luxury travel, Turtle PR really understands our lifestyle proposition and the key messages we need to communicate to our consumers,” says Paul Cleary, Managing Director at Caribtours.

We have a number of exciting new products launching in 2015 and know Turtle PR is the right choice to widen our market exposure in the UK,” says Cleary.

Turtle is also tasked with promoting the brand’s more affordable programme, C by Caribtours, which offers travellers a lower entry point of sale, with the same impeccable level of service from the luxury brand and customer care.

Leila Stocker, Turtle PR’s Director says: “Caribtours is a stellar travel firm, with well-established relationships with some of the finest hotels in the world. Offering unsurpassed levels of guest service, it is a delight to be working with such a prestigious brand, committed to excellence – a superb client in our portfolio.”
