EVCOM offers Student Membership

EVCOM has announced a strategic partnership with Falmouth University.
Since its establishment EVCOM has quickly been recognised as the leading membership association representing the film and live communication industry.  
EVCOM members include leading agencies, production companies, suppliers, freelancers and clients. The focus of EVCOM is very clearly on helping members be more successful. As an industry leader EVCOM is committed to raising the profile of the industry, extending business opportunities, nurturing talent and attracting the best and brightest to our industry.

The partnership with Falmouth University will provide 3rd year BA (Hons) students with EVCOM Student Membership which will be provided by Falmouth University as an enhancement to their studies and career paths.

  The students will benefit from:
1- Access to the members area of the EVCOM website –;
2 - Listing as an EVCOM Student Member on the self- managed Members’ pages allowing them visibility to the industry;
3 - Ability to showcase examples of work in EVCOM members listing area of website
4 - Opportunity to participate in all paid EVCOM seminars/workshops and training events at discounted student member rates (student places at events is limited and offered on a first come first served basis) as well as free networking events;
5 - Opportunity to attend EVCOM Awards and EVCOMference at discounted student member rates;
6 - Opportunity to participate in EVCOM ‘Behind the Scenes’ Events at discounted student member rates allowing students to gain first stand experience at organising top award and conference events;
7 - Discounted entry to EVCOM Awards including EVCOM Screen Awards and EVCOM Experiential Awards;
8 - Inclusion in the EVCOM mailing list to receive members’ newsletter and other EVCOM information;
9 - Opportunity to post news on EVCOM website;
10 - Opportunity to utilise the Job section of the EVCOM website and also to place “Job Wanted” or “internship wanted” ads on the Job section of the website;
11- Opportunity to be part of an EVCOM seminar panel where appropriate;
12 - EVCOM Member logo which may be used on CV, website etc providing that the student remains in paid membership. Once studies have completed and a job gained, the student may upgrade to full individual membership.

Isabelle Compton is a Level 3 BA Hons Creative Events Management student currently studying at Falmouth. As a member I will be able to develop my knowledge and appreciations of the complexities and developments within the industry, attend events and EVCOM Awards and create valuable contacts for future career progression.
