A&K introduces a dedicated small group journeys programme

Due to popular demand, Abercrombie & Kent has introduced its exclusive Small Group Journeys; a collection of expertly designed set-departure itineraries that allow clients to really get under the skin of a destination.
Curated by A&K’s on-the-ground offices around the world, clients will enjoy privileged access to the destinations they visit, immersing themselves in the culture and history to get a truly authentic understanding of a country, experiencing encounters you won’t find in any guidebook.

With fifty local offices and in-house local guides who are universally recognised as the best in the business, A&K is in an unrivalled position to provide a level of in-depth insider access to the four corners of the globe. As part of a small group of like-minded travellers who share the same thirst for discovery, clients will stay in the most luxurious hotels with the best views, fast track the queues and visit sites, museums and galleries with after-hours access, all under the expert guidance of an A&K Tour Director and a local guide.

A&K has categorised each Small Luxury Group Journey according to the focus of the group:
·         Small Luxury Group Journeys – Designed to offer a one of a kind travel experience, groups will range from just 12-18 guests and will be looked after by an experienced and dedicated A&K Tour Director. These trips are all about getting off the beaten track, making new discoveries and taking advantage of the small group size to stay in unique accommodation and experience A&Ks legendary ‘Insider Access’; whether or not it’s a private tour of the Terracotta Warriors by a resident archaeologist or dinner at a private family farm in Bhutan. Includes services of the Travelling BellBoy, The Travellers Valet and private transfers to compliment your trip.

·         Connections Tours - The onus of these Journeys is discovery; cultural, heritage and spiritual, as well as the introduction of new environments and people. Activities range from walking tours to visiting craft workshops and local restaurants and with no more than 24 people in each Journey the focus is still on personal service whilst allowing guest to get to know their fellow travellers. Accommodation has been chosen for its style and location and ranges from boutique hotels to river boats and safari camps.

·         Luxury Small Group Journeys for Families – Specifically designed with junior travellers in mind, Abercrombie and Kent have created bespoke itineraries that focus on interaction, education and fun! With everything tailored towards the family, each journey will include a Young Explorers Guide to ensure the children are at the forefront of discovery. As part of the family package all children are discounted by £500 and trips are organised to coincide with school holidays so that ‘homework stays at home’.

·         Family Connections – Children are at the heart of these larger group tours which are looked after by a dedicated A&K Tour Director. Experience the excitement and joy of travelling as a family to far off destinations staying at some of the best located hotels for sightseeing. Children are discounted by £250 each and departures once again coincide with school holidays.
