The Investec Derby Festival (5-6 June 2015) is the world’s greatest flat race and draws over 120,000 spectators to the two-day meeting. Dating back to 1779, The Festival is a longstanding favourite in the summer season and one of Great Britain's most traditional days out.
The four year contract, worth £8.7M, will see Keith Prowse work with the Epsom Downs hospitality team to deliver event growth and a world-class hospitality experience. The hospitality offering of the Tattenham Straight Marquee, sees prices start at £245 (+ VAT) and offers a unique position adjacent to the main grandstand, on the famous Tattenham Straight - a pivotal point as the runners approach the final furlong of the race. In addition, The Winning Post package in the Lonsdale Enclosure will bring another dimension to the hospitality offer, while renowned chefs Albert Roux OBE and Michel Roux Jr, will design and deliver the four-course menus in the Queen’s Stand Enclosure: Roux @ Blue Riband.
Reflecting Keith Prowse’s forward-thinking take on entertaining, interiors and ambience - menu concepts and service levels will be redesigned to reflect today's demand for a more innovative approach to entertaining. Keith Prowse will also oversee sales and marketing activities along with fulfillment of tickets, passes and ancillary services.
The Investec Derby Festival comprises Investec Ladies Day, encompassing The Investec Oaks on 5 June and on 6 June The Investec Derby Day sees one of the biggest prizes in UK racing, where the £1.325m prize money is matched only by the prestige that victory brings.
