Ashfield Meetings & Events celebrates business wins

Ashfield Meetings & Events has announced a number of recent business development successes.
The European Lung Foundation appointed Ashfield Meetings & Events to support the launch of ‘Healthy Lungs For Life’ at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) International Congress in Munich, 6 – 10 September 2014.

Healthy Lungs For Life is one of the largest ever lung health campaigns, raising awareness of the importance of healthy lungs. Ashfield are providing local support from their Munich-based office and have developed an experiential ‘Lung Function Area’ in Odeonsplatz, where among other activities there will be public lung function testing. Ashfield Meetings & Events are also managing a number of groups attending the congress with separate clients, including Chiesi UK.

In addition, Ashfield Meetings & Events have been appointed to two international rosters across different divisions of a top ten pharmaceutical company. Both rosters are to provide delegate management, logistics and venue finding services and will involve a blended cross-Atlantic team from offices in Pennsylvania in the US and Ashby De La Zouch in the UK. The first roster is research and development-led events whereas the second is focused on post-launch events and internal meetings and conferences. The client cited Ashfield’s pharmaceutical experience and compliance insight alongside their transparent pricing, global reach and financial stability as key factors in their success.

Other wins include Covis Pharmaceuticals, The Cystinosis Foundation and Isover, part of the Saint Gobain group of companies.
