AlliedPRA Spain opens new office in Madrid

AlliedPRA Spain, a wholly owned subsidiary of AlliedPRA International, a global leader in the destination management company (DMC) sector, has announced the opening of a new office in Madrid.

Robert Patterson, Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of AlliedPRA International commented:  “AlliedPRA Spain’s Barcelona office has previously serviced clients requiring DMC services in Madrid. AlliedPRA Spain has been experiencing rapid growth in demand from their clients for DMC programs in Madrid and in order to optimally service these clients, AlliedPRA Spain decided to set up an office in this location, dedicated to the design and delivery of client programs in Madrid and its surrounding areas. Heading up the new office is Maite Carruesco. The Madrid office will be supported by the Barcelona office whose team of DMC professionals has over 65 years of combined destination management experience.”

As the third largest city in Europe, the city center of Madrid, is a short 25 minute drive from the Bajaras airport, which handles annually over 45 million passengers, including many from the USA. The city is home to over 91 museums, including the world famous Prado, as well as 87 art galleries and 62 theatres, giving visitors to Madrid the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in Spain’s rich and varied culture. There are many good reasons to select Madrid for meetings, congresses and incentive travel programs, including the warm weather in the winter, value-for-money, world-class accommodations and a vibrant nightlife.  Spain is a diverse country with many distinct regional cultures and a diverse geography, from the beautiful sun-kissed Mediterranean coastline to snow topped mountain ranges.

“The opening of this new AlliedPRA office in Madrid, adds to the growing list of sought-after destinations serviced by AlliedPRA to meet our clients’ sophisticated program needs” shared Patterson. “Although we’ve operated DMC programs for many years in Madrid, the number of programs we have delivered has continuously increased year after year. With further growth in demand for Madrid programs expected, the Company has decided to make an investment in a local office in Madrid. The AlliedPRA Spain team, led by Natalia Casajuana, is delighted to have a Madrid office to increase the capacity to optimally service clients visiting Madrid. This latest move reflects AlliedPRA’s ability to invest and constantly adapt to meet the ever changing requirements of its clients.”
