NXTevent will be led by Erik Franklin, General Manager. Mr. Franklin will be overseeing the successful integration of the NXTevent team Seattle.
Born a Washingtonian and passionate Seattle-ite event leader, Mr. Franklin’s has 25+ years of experience in the meeting, events, hotel and hospitality industry of the Pacific Northwest. Recognized many times over in the region for his outstanding achievements and event designs in many categories, Mr. Franklin has been recognized by his industry colleagues as Meeting Planner of the Year, as well as named Event Management Leader of the Year, Marriott International, Western Region. Erik attended the W.S.U. Hotel & Restaurant Administration, Seattle Campus and upon his graduation, Erik was the commencement speaker.
The NXTevent offices will be overseen and directed by 15 year industry veteran Joanne O’Connell, Vice President. Ms. O’Connell was recently promoted from General Manager of the Boston office to Vice President. Allyson O’Connor, CEO and Founder of NXTevent will be working side by side with the executive team in the area of business management and development and the successful integration of NXTevent.
