32% revenue increase is best-ever performance for agencyThe last 12 months has been a record year for leading independent meetings & travel management provider Inntel.
The agency saw client revenues rise by 32% overall, with meetings and events business up 41% and bookings by 49.9%. Client turnover rose by 22% year-on-year, with meetings and events turnover also up by 32%.
These results are even more impressive in a tough market with Inntel reporting average spend per booking was down 9% on the previous 12 months.
The agency enjoyed high profile account wins including AXA UK and Metro Bank, but Inntel MD Douglas O Neill also attributes these excellent results to organic growth amongst existing clients.
“On average, our clients saved 25% on their managed meetings spend by working with us, helping them to challenge the need for external meetings, we have seen them embrace our electronic meetings tools this year, taking the opportunity to introduce new meetings and travel policies and, as a result, streamlining their booking and payment processes.”
Inntel Director of Business Development Jane Dibble reports that the agency is seeing growth in all types of meetings and events. “Team building events are definitely becoming popular once again, as are small meetings associated with recruitment, which can only be a positive sign for the country’s economy.”
Dibble also paid tribute to the high service levels provided by her account management team, incorporating booker engagement, data analysis and strong negotiation skills.
