The journey begins in London and will take in Coventry, Leicestershire, Derby, Staffordshire and Manchester, before returning to London. The programme of events includes presentations, seminar sessions, teambuilding events and networking, and will be documented through social media and the association’s YouTube channel.
Launched as part of the HBAA’s forward thinking and inclusive strategy, the roadshow will provide the perfect opportunity for members to meet with HBAA representatives. The week will also feature a specially designed teambuilding event from HBAA strategic partner Off Limits Corporate Events, which will take place at Alton Towers Hotel and Conference Centre for participating agents. The winning team members will win a weekend for two at the Marriott Hanbury Manor.
Chris Parnham, Chairman of the HBAA, comments: “We see a lot of our members in London, or at industry events, but this is about reaching out to members and seeing how they conduct their day to day business in their venues and businesses. It also proves we are not a static organisation - we champion the importance of travel and relish any opportunity to build on our relationships with our agent and venue members.”
Juliet Price, Executive Director of the HBAA, adds: “This is an exciting venture for the HBAA and one that really enables us to convey what the association is all about. We will be documenting our week through all our social media channels and would love as many people as possible to be involved. Hopefully the success we have will mean we can make this an annual event with the opportunity to visit members in other regions next time round.”
