Brands2Life, Capita Travel and Events and Gravity focused on driving sales and awareness of QuickBooks OnlineIntuit, the largest provider of back office software to small businesses in the world, has appointed three new agencies to support its ambitious growth plans. Brands2Life will handle PR and social media; Capita Travel and Events will look after Intuit’s events programme and Gravity London will be the lead strategy and creative agency.
While Intuit is the top online small business accounting software vendor globally, it is currently less well known in the UK. As SMEs continue to power the UK’s economic growth, Intuit is investing heavily to become the back office partner on which their businesses are built. It has recently appointed a new UK management team; moved into flagship offices in London’s Victoria; launched a major recruitment progamme to attract the brightest talent and is placing a major focus on developing even tighter relationships with the UK’s SME and accounting communities. The agency hires are the next step to ensure it is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the enormous potential for cloud accounting software.
The agencies, who will report into the recently appointed director of marketing, David Walsh, share a common brief centred around driving sales and awareness of Intuit’s QuickBooks Online product. They will form an extension of the Intuit communications team, delivering world class communications strategy, messaging, creative, events, PR and social media.
David Walsh, Marketing Director at Intuit, said: “We are at a crucial time in Intuit’s story and we needed three outstanding agencies to give us the communications powerhouse we need to deliver on the growth opportunity ahead of us. All three impressed us with their creativity, industry expertise and strategic thinking. We’re intent on making QuickBooks Online the number one cloud accounting software in the UK; the agencies have a very clear focus and I’m looking forward to integrating them tightly with our internal teams and working very closely with them to achieve this.”
“Intuit has a really interesting challenge in the UK as it tries to replicate its stellar success in the US market. It’s a challenge we relish,” commented Dan Chappell, Managing Director Business & Technology at Brands2Life. “We will be creating compelling, digitally-led campaigns which achieve genuine business impact. Intuit is a strategically important account for us and we’re committed to creating a long and successful relationship which delivers stand-out results.”
Anita Lowe, Director of Meetings and Events, Capita Travel and Events said: “We’re delighted to have been chosen by Intuit for its agency roster. Appointing Capita Travel and Events as its events agency demonstrates a commitment to long term growth through specialist partnerships. Intuit is thinking ahead and taking advantage of agency expertise to create an events strategy that maximises value for money to underpin that growth. We are already working on a number of exciting projects and look forward to further developing our partnership.”
Mark Lethbridge, CEO, Gravity London, said: “Our strength in B2B and understanding what drives start-ups and the SMB sector are key to our appointment, but equally important is our ability to access global best practice and creativity from our global network and multi-sector experience. We bring a proven balance of creative, strategic brand development, research, digital and automated marketing and are excited at the prospect of helping to transform the Quickbooks brand and exploit an untapped market opportunity.”
