Green Route Africa was appointed as the official ground handler by Reed Exhibitions to manage all transfers for all three shows.
Participating as exhibitors at both ILTM, through their sister company Dragonfly Africa, and IBTM. IBTM was held at the CTICC (Cape Town International Convention Centre) between 28 – 30 April. It was the first time the show had been held in Africa and Green Route Africa were very excited to be on of the first exhibitors. Over two days Green Route Africa had over 30 appointments with top incentive hosted buyers from around the world.
In addition to exhibiting at the show Green Route Africa also hosted 12 top incentive buyers from UK, Belgium, France and Germany for a two-day post programme. During this time they showcased the best of Cape Town, exploring all the world-class destination has to offer. Highlights included a high speed boat trip to seal island, vintage car transfers to the 12 Apostles Hotel, welcome cocktails in the Presidential Suite of the Taj Cape Town, a beach picnic at Buffels Bay and the highlight for many, a visit to Langa for a walking tour and lunch. What better way to say goodbye to Cape Town than dancing the Pata Pata at Mzanzi’s Restaurant!
As one of the delegates commented, how often can you be on a speedboat with views of seals in the morning, at the tip of Africa during lunch and enjoying world-class cheese & wine at a beautiful wine estate in the afternoon!! Only in Africa!!
