RAC chooses Grass Roots’ pure card

Motoring organisation the RAC has teamed up with Grass Roots, the world’s leading provider of employee and customer engagement solutions, to launch a promotion to attract new customers for their roadside breakdown and insurance services.

New customers can earn up to £100 cashback when they join RAC, to spend using an RAC branded pure card - with the further benefit of getting rebates onto their card when used at over 60 participating high street retailers. Named the ‘RAC Member Benefits Card’, the organisation is also making the product available to their 3,500 employees.

pure card, a Grass Roots product, is a prepaid VISA debit card with a multitude of uses. Popular choices are to use the card to reward or incentivise employees, channel partners or customers as part of an employee benefit, for staff motivation, or as a reward or incentive programme. Payments can be made onto cards as a way of saying ‘thank you’ to individuals, to recognise positive behaviours, safely manage funds for expenses, or even administer household budgets for residents.

This promotion has been brokered by Grass Roots OneFee, who specialise in fixed-fee promotions, and has involved close cooperation between three specialist Grass Roots divisions; Promotions & Incentives, Customer Engagement and Employee Solutions. They have worked with longstanding partner Raphaels Bank, who is the issuer of the RAC Member Benefits Card.
