Horseradish launches – adding a new level of creativity to event and hospitality services

New event and hospitality service provider, Horseradish will provide both corporate and consumer clients with a fresh approach to events.
Born out of the Chester Racecourse portfolio, Horseradish was initially founded to deliver innovative, quality catering for Chester Race Company’s 220,000 customers during a race season.

Now Horseradish’s dynamic team will deliver first-class on and offsite event services, venue management and catering solutions for corporate, agency, association and consumer clients. Events, from meetings to gala dinners and music festival, will be held through its expanding portfolio of unique venues including Chester Racecourse, Chester Town Hall, Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse and Llangollen International Pavilion.

As Horseradish seeks to position itself as a leader in the market, it has recruited Angus Wilson as Head of Catering. He brings with him a wealth of experience from the Hospitality industry having previously worked for De Vere Hotels, the Compass Group (at a variety of its top venues including the O2 Arena) and ACC Liverpool.

Angus Wilson, Head of Catering at Horseradish, comments: “For many years we have worked with a large number of well known clients, providing creative catering for their events. But we have also offered additional services when they were required to great success. Making full use of our team’s vast knowledge of the events and hospitality industry and dedication to service delivery, we took the strategic decision to expand our offering, and after much hard work we’re now in a position to be able to offer clients a full event management service. As part of Chester Race Company we can draw upon specialist support and operational services including health and safety, sales and marketing, human resources, ticketing, design, security and cleaning, in order to deliver exceptional events.”

Wilson continues: “Working with a number of exciting venues, we can offer a wide range of exceptional on and offsite event services. Whether it is a private dinner for 20 people or an outside event for 45,000 people, our attention to detail ensures we deliver outstanding events that exceed client expectations. The venues we work with are unique and there is no limit to what can be achieved so clients are assured that their event will be truly memorable.”

Horseradish’s diverse portfolio of unique and exciting venues is expanding and the company will be announcing new partnerships in the coming months.
