The organisation has recently welcomed The Serpentine Gallery, The Museum of London Docklands, Tower of London and the Chelsea Physic Garden to its books, where they will join many of the capital’s most iconic museums, galleries, palaces and historic buildings..
The team at UVL will be showcasing its new venues along with The UVL Event Doctor, its unrivalled service which offers organisers advice and recommendations on their events’ style, venue choice, suppliers, access and transportation etc.
This year is a landmark year for UVL, marking its 21st year in operation. Speaking of its plans for 2014, Moya Maxwell, Chairman of Unique Venues of London and Head of Commercial Programming at the Royal Opera House explained; “UVL celebrated a really successful 2013, with the launch of UVL Event Doctors and with several new members joining us. As we move forward into 2014, we are anticipating another great year, not least as we will be celebrating our 21st anniversary but also, as we will be unveiling a brand new logo, look and website following a redesign of our marketing makeup.”
She continued; “After consultation with our members and users, we agreed that the UVL branding needed refreshing, making sure it better reflected what we stand for as an organisation and the services we offer. We have also embarked on a social media communications campaign, most recently launching a Linkedin group. This has provided us with a great forum for conducting research and engaging with our members and, with the other social channels we are utilising ensures we act as the voice of our members.”
UVL’s new website and branding is due to be unveiled later in 2014. To hear more of the consortium’s plans for its 21st anniversary and to see its newest venues, visit the UVL team at The BNC Global Events Show on 19th February at The Brewery, London.
