AYMTM brings Harry Potter magic to Sytner dealer conference

Sytner at Warner Bros studios
Sytner, the countrywide prestige car dealership, stunned dealer principals with a surprise dinner at Warner Bros’ Harry Potter Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.
Unbeknown to those attending the annual conference at The Grove hotel, Sytner through its incentive and motivation agency AYMTM which organised the entire event, had arranged to transport all delegates at the close of business to Warner Bros studios.

After a champagne reception and short film, golden doors opened to reveal the famous Great Hall of Hogwarts which played host to the sumptuous dinner.

Highlights of the night included 6ft 10inch former England Rugby Union forward Martin Bayfield recounting his experiences playing the half-giant Hagrid as a double for actor Robbie Coltrane.

AYMTM ensured Harry Potter animal actors including the Death Eaters, cat, owl and dog were all part of the evening.

Geoffrey Page-Morris, Group Operations Director for Sytner, commented:  “The incredible surprise element of this event took our breath away - most especially when the dinner venue was revealed.  AYMTM’s venue idea was totally different to anything we’ve ever considered, and even those who are not Harry Potter aficionados found the event engaging and enjoyable.”

Director of events at AYMTM, Paul Evans, commented:  “After a day of graft at The Grove we wanted to wow every delegate. What better way than with the magic of Harry Potter.  Very few corporate events have been held here to date.  For an event taking place in winter, Warner Bros Studios provided the perfect blend of excitement, wonder and fun from one of the Britain’s biggest ever film franchises.”

All delegates had the opportunity to be photographed riding a broomstick against a film style back drop as a reminder of their experience at the studios.
