GTMC Pavilion introduced at 2014 Business Travel Show

THE GTMC (Guild of Travel Management Companies), the UK’s leading professional industry body for travel management companies, will be introducing a GTMC Pavilion at the 2014 Business Travel Show.  For the first time GTMC members and partners will exhibit alongside each other, together with GTMC management.

GTMC members now number a record thirty-nine of the top fifty travel management companies and members exhibiting at the GTMC Pavilion include Altour, Co-operative Travel, Gray Dawes, Statesman and Business Travel Direct. GTMC members account for some 80% of business travel spend in the UK.

It will be a first Business Travel Show, representing the GTMC, for Andy Grodecki, who was appointed to the new role of manager industry partners in September. Grodecki, who previously held the role of vice president sales North America Virgin Atlantic, has brought together GTMC partners Avis, Accelya, Purple Parking and new Partner Wex Corporate Pay to join members at the GTMC Pavilion.

GTMC chief executive Paul Wait and Any Grodecki will be utilising the show to showcase the benefits of GTMC membership and supplier partnerships.

Paul Wait said: “It made sense to offer the opportunity for our members and partners to come together to exhibit at the Business Travel Show under the GTMC banner as, ‘The Voice of the Business Traveller’.

“Without doubt the GTMC provides unrivalled opportunity to establish networks and exchange views and experiences with peers, suppliers and key industry stakeholders and we will be using the BTS platform to reinforce the benefits of membership and partnership.”
