Pro Sky makes Brazil a top-level location with expansion of the São Paulo office

Pro Sky is increasing involvement in Brazil. The leading provider of customised air travel solutions is expanding its São Paulo office. Next to two new team members, Pro Sky founder and CEO Armin Truger is now going to spend a lot of time working in Brazil. With these measures, Pro Sky is responding to the increasing demand in the country, which will host two mega sports events.

Brazil has been an important location in Pro Sky's corporate history since 1997. Back then, the air travel experts organised their first aircraft charter to the waterfalls of Foz do Iguaçu. Numerous projects followed, and in 2001 the team handled a very noteworthy flight. As global air traffic came largely to a standstill after September 11, Pro Sky used an Airbus operated by the Brazilian carrier TAM to take the employees of a software company safely back from the Bahamas to Germany. In 2006, Pro Sky opened an office in São Paulo, which is now undergoing a significant expansion.

"Brazil is booming and expecting quite a few superlatives for the upcoming sports events," CEO Armin Truger explained the expansion. The huge distances within the country play a special role in this. Many routes can only be travelled by aircraft. General passenger traffic is constantly increasing as well. Recently, the renowned Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) published relevant key figures. According to their statistics, 36 million people boarded planes in Brazil in 2002. Ten years later, the number had increased to 101 million. For 2020, the FGV forecasts 195 million travellers.

Aircraft Charters, Airline Tickets for Groups, Airport & Inflight Services and Private Jets: Pro Sky is taking the entire service portfolio to Brazil. Armin Truger sees an especially pressing need for PRO SKY Flight Managers in the country. "Standard procedures in many Brazilian airports are not optimally suited for the needs of discerning corporate clients," he commented on the challenges. The well trained and experienced Pro Sky Flight Managers can alleviate this problem and significantly improve services.
