KDS CEO Dean Forbes named one of the 25 most Influential Executives in the Business Travel Industry in 2013

KDS, the European Travel and Expense (T&E) management technology provider, today announced that Dean Forbes, KDS CEO, has been selected by Business Travel News (BTN) as one of the 25 most influential executives in the business travel industry in 2013. The announcement, which was made at the BTN Group’s Travel Management 2014 Conference in New York, was recognition of Forbes’ leadership and KDS’ continued technological advancements and innovations in 2013.

“I am extremely proud to have been selected for this prestigious accolade” said Forbes. “It is a great honour, not only for me, but for everyone at KDS who has worked tirelessly to make a genuine impact in our market.  We, at KDS, see an industry that craves innovation, one which is not just looking for improvement, but fundamental change and advancement in the way we all work, Neo is that change. In 2014 we will build on this positivity with the launch of KDS Neo Expense at our KDS Now conference on January 29th; it is to the expense management world what Neo has already been to the travel world. ”

Said Business Travel News Editorial Director David Meyer, “We named Dean Forbes on our list of the 25 most influential executives in the business travel industry for 2013, in order to recognize his efforts, and those of his colleagues, in driving innovation that is significantly expanding the company's sphere of influence and advancing end-to-end travel management.”

The BTN Group’s announcement follows a busy year for KDS following the launch of the door-to-door travel and expense management solution KDS Neo. 2013 saw KDS make several KDS Neo focused announcements, including those of several new clients (including Baillie Gifford, Leoni and Orange), multiple award wins, a new global partnership with Carlson Wagonlit Travel and a successful first outing at PhoCusWright’s Travel Innovation Summit which left the judges speechless.

Forbes was presented with his plaque at the BTN Group’s Travel Management 2014 Conference held in New York, where he joined other members of the top 25 in sharing forecasts and predictions for the travel industry as we move into 2014 and further ahead for 2020.
