Evolve Events devises ‘Health Check’ programme for annual events

Evolve Events has created a free ‘Health Check’ for annual events such as awards shows, charity fundraisers and seasonal parties to help venues and event organisers deliver better-quality events.

The ‘Health Check’ programme has been designed to help in-house teams and organisers, both London-based and abroad, review their upcoming event, free of charge. The initiative has been introduced following a growing demand from the event management company’s clients to find fresh ways to engage audiences and differentiate their events from previous years.

Evolve Events’ ‘Health Check’ offers:
• Visiting the client to discuss the event, the brief and how to deliver the key messages and improve return on investment
• Devising a critical path document to work to in order to help manage budgets and timelines
• Support when sourcing the venue and guidance on how to introduce a theme, ensuring that messages are conveyed according to the brief, as well as advising on styling and final touches of the event design
• Guidance on sourcing equipment and stage setting; appropriate entertainment and music; speaker; presentation backdrops, video streaming, filming; award prizes and catering
• Finding different ways to engage with the audience compared to previous years

Gary Peters, managing director of Evolve Events, comments: “Organising an annual event is a time-consuming business, and finding ways to build on the success of last year’s event can sometimes be daunting. Reviewing repeat events and considering what can be improved and differentiated from previous years is crucial to the success of the next event; the ‘Health Check’ programme has been introduced to help with all these stages.”

Evolve Events produces annual events both in London and overseas, and recent repeat events include the European Business Awards, RSM International Conference, Arts for India’s annual fundraiser and the WTA Pre-Wimbledon party.
