Grass Roots honoured in Sunday Times Top Track 250 Awards 2013

The owners and directors of Britain’s 250 leading mid-market private companies were recognised last week at the 9th annual Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 awards dinner, held in London. Employee and customer engagement specialists Grass Roots are delighted to have been placed 88th in the results.

The Top Track 250 league table ranks Britain’s 250 leading mid-market private companies as published in last weekend’s The Sunday Times. 39 companies in the southeast of England feature in this year’s results, with Grass Roots (headquartered in Tring, Hertfordshire) ranked 88th overall – rising from 110th place in 2012.

Grass Roots CEO Richard Bandell, who attended the awards ceremony with Finance Director Russell Clutton and Head of Employee Engagement Francis Goss, is thrilled with this year’s Top Track 250 outcome and is looking ahead to even bigger and better results in future years, “We are proud to have risen a dramatic 21 places in just one year, and recognition amongst our top-performing private company peers is always valuable.”

With positions determined by sales, provided either sales or profits have increased by at least 10% year on year, Bandell is keen to stay in the listings going forward. “I am optimistic about the future of the Grass Roots Group. With various new appointments illustrating our ability to attract the best industry talent, and recent structural changes providing clarity and opportunity to offer greater value to clients, we are in a fantastic position to grow profitably in years to come, and I look forward to many more wonderful awards dinners with Top Track 250!”
