Following on from the success of 2012’s ‘Behind the Scenes' experience, Eventia have secured the support of Virgin Atlantic's Group Travel Scheme team for the 2013 Eventia Awards on 22nd November 2013.
The experience gives participants the chance to meet all the various teams involved in the final stages of delivering a large event - in this case the biggest night in the event industry awards calendar. From front of house to food and beverage, screens to sound, the talent to the show caller, 'Behind the Scenes' provides a unique insight into the teamwork required to ensure a successful event. Then you get to enjoy the awards show you've seen being planned!
Awards are important for the Virgin team, such as the Group Travel Organiser Awards, where Virgin Atlantic have scooped Best Airline for Group Travel, so the chance to support this innovative and immersive educational opportunity linked to the event industry’s premier awards event was too good to miss.
Virgin's Rebecca Duncan (Team Manager, UK Groups and MICE) said, "We are really excited to be actively involved with the 2013 Eventia Awards. Travel to and from the event is all part of the experience and our aim is to be recognised as an Airline who values MICE travel".
