Passport to the Grand Trunk Road with Moti Mahal and Abercrombie & Kent

Passports are what permit people to become citizens of the world, allowing travellers to cross borders and engage in cultural exchanges. Every stamp in a passport represents a country, a memory, a collectable badge of honour from recent destinations.
Starting in September, for the intrepid traveller in all of us, Moti Mahal restaurant in Covent Garden, together with luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent, will launch their new initiative "Passport to the Grand Trunk Road".

"Passport to the Grand Trunk Road" will offer lovers of India the opportunity to embark on a culinary journey representing the ancient lifeline that has linked the Eastern and Western regions of India for centuries.

To celebrate the launch of the "Passport to the Grand Trunk Road" initiative, Moti Mahal and Abercrombie & Kent will offer one lucky diner the chance to win a gourmet eight day tour of Northern India, staying at luxurious Taj Hotels in Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur along the way. Return flights from London and private car transfers will also be included.

With a Moti Mahal and Abercrombie & Kent branded passport in tow, customers can earn stamps by attending events and by dining at the restaurant. Any passport that has earned 6 or more stamps will be entered into the "Passport to the Grand Trunk Road" competition. The competition will close on 29 March 2014 and the winner will be drawn at random in early April 2014.

Featuring dishes from Bengal to the Punjab, diners participating in the "Passport to the Grand Trunk Road" initiative will be one bite closer to India.
