Alan Smith joins AlliedPRA Destination Management as Vice President of Global SalesAlliedPRA Destination Management have announced Alan Smith joins the company as Vice President of Global Sales, according to George Pohle, chief executive officer of AlliedPRA, Inc. In this role, Smith is responsible for overseeing the global sales force focused on strategic global sales development, while expanding growth opportunities in new markets and managing key accounts relationships.
During his career, Smith hosted hundreds of events globally, including product launches, customer conferences, sales incentive trips and large conferences. His sales experiences spans over 30 years across all vertical markets, with particular expertise in selling and supporting the public sector, financial services and telecommunications markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has worked for several leading systems integrators and software companies, having spent 10 years with BMC, serving as VP of Northern Europe, where his region ranked first worldwide. His extensive sales leadership also includes spearheading a number of mergers and acquisitions.

Smith joins the expanding AlliedPRA Global Sales team, which includes the newest members Gabrielle Spanton joins AlliedPRA as the new Global Sales Manager serving the Canadian market and Melanie Fletcher covering the Southeast region of the US.
