New recruits for events by tlc in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro as business grows in Brazil

events by tlc has added 2 new recruits to its Sao Paulo office and created a permanent presence in Rio de Janeiro as it enters its second year of operation in Brazil.


George Salmond has solid international experience having honed his project management skills working for global events agency Grassroots in the UK and Brazil. During his 7 year period with the company, George managed events of all shapes and sizes, meticulously planning every detail from robust risk assessment of each element to ensuring appointed suppliers meet the stringent standards of compliance laid down by today’s demanding event buyers.


In addition to managing events by tlc’s growing number of confirmed projects, George will be responsible for the procurement of local suppliers to ensure they meet the company’s strict international evaluation criteria.


Eugenia Ferreira de Lima joins the team as a junior events manager and will support the team in the planning and management of confirmed programmes and helping to create innovative solutions to client briefs. Eugenia studied architecture in Portugal before working for an events agency in Lisbon. Architectural design and careful planning which meets clients expectations are ideal attributes for designing and planning events in Brazil.


Sofia Andrade has relocated from events by tlc in Lisbon to manage the Rio de Janeiro office which has seen an increase in both international incentive programmes and meetings. Sofia has a strong track record in event design, creating programme solutions for the international market. She particularly loves to create the unusual Rio, showcasing many of the hidden attractions the city can offer. She is also gearing up for the Olympics in 2016 when Rio plays host to the games.
