Melanie Newman appointed account director at Zibrant meetings and events agency

Melanie Newman has been appointed account director at the Zibrant meetings and events agency, based in the company’s global sales and marketing offices in Godalming, Surrey. She was formerly a key account director at Q Hotels.
Newman’s key responsibilities at Zibrant include delivering and overseeing the annual account management strategy for one of the agency’s largest clients.

She says, ‘I have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and have considerable experience of the hotel side of the sector, plus my previous account management portfolio ensures that I bring with me a diverse knowledge of industry sectors and strong account management skills. Having previously managed Zibrant as a supplier, I feel a strong affiliation with the company values and vision, and am delighted to have now become a part of this unique and inspirational company.’
