Lime Venue Portfolio appoints head of conference and events sales at The Kia Oval  

Maria Scullion has been appointed head of conference and events sales at The Kia Oval, a unique venue offered as part of Lime Venue Portfolio and the home ground of Surrey County Cricket Club.  

Scullion previously worked as sales manager at Mayfair’s Dartmouth House, another of Lime Venue Portfolio’s properties. She joined the collection of venues in 2010 after gaining vital experience in various sales roles, including Millennium & Copthorne Hotels , EEF Venues and Malmaison Hotels.

In her new remit she will be responsible for increasing the profile of The Kia Oval’s 11 meetings and events spaces, with capacity for up to 600 delegates, to the corporate and agency market and further establishing the venue as the first choice for conference, meetings and events.

Maria said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at such an iconic venue and look forward to helping them build upon their excellent reputation in the meetings and events arena. My main objectives are to ensure that we are providing fantastic product offerings to meet client needs as well as maintaining key contracts and expanding the venue’s reputation for quality, versatility and good value”.
