The book, entitled 'Marketing Destinations and Venues for Conferences, Conventions and Business Events' (second edition), introduces students and practitioners to key areas of marketing and promotion that are essential if conference destinations and venues are to compete successfully in the rapidly expanding global business events sector.
It achieves this by looking at issues surrounding business event marketing, strategic planning, destination and venue selling and future challenges.
Michael Hirst OBE, Chair of the BVEP says; “This updated publication is a very welcome addition to the store of knowledge about industry good practice. When you’re overtaking, keep accelerating! - An essential read for professional development and hungry-for-success individuals.”
