Lufthansa takes delivery of its first Airbus A380
Frankfurt am Main’ is the name of the new flagship of the Lufthansa fleet, the airline’s first Airbus A380, delivered on May 19. It is claimed to set new standards in travel comfort, technology and environmental efficiency. There are 526 seats. It is flying Airbus A340-300 aircraft to Heathrow three times a week, with 30 business class and 246 economy class seats. CityJet launches twice-daily services to Milan from London City Airport
CityJet, based in London but part of Air France KLM, has started a new service to Milan, flying twice daily during the week to Milan Linate. Oman Air is now operating a 3-class service on its new A330-300 aircraft on the London Heathrow-Muscat flights. When the airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Peter Hill, launched the new service he said: ‘our stunning new aircraft offer more space, comfort and luxury than ever before.
