Luxury spa for Chelsea Harbour’s Wyndham Grand

September sees the opening of The Blue Harbour Spa the Wyndham Grand in London’s Chelsea Harbour. It will offer treatments from luxury product houses including Yon Ka, Aromatherapy Associates, Monu and Mama Mio. The wide-ranging spa menu has been created with eastern and western influences in mind, incorporating holistic therapies such as reflexology and Ayurvedic massage, as well as everything from volcanic stone massages to salt scrubs and seaweed wraps. ,br> Two of the six treatment rooms at the spa are double. In addition to special treatments for pregnant women, for men there is Monu’s Vitru range. It offers treatments such as Skin Fitness, a deep cleanse and detox for the skin, and the Power Back & Neck, a deep tissue massage with hot and cold stones to target ingrained tension. The Blue Harbour Spa will also offer a signature treatment, the Melt Massage. A melting oil candle is dripped all over the body for a 75-minute treatment.
The opening of the Blue Harbour Spa is part of a hotel-wide refurbishment, which has already seen the launch of a new penthouse floor and the redesign of the interior, and a number of outdoor spaces which capitalise on the hotel’s tranquil setting. In addition to the spa treatments, the health club will offer state of the art fitness equipment in the 24-hour gym, as well as a sauna, steam room and 17-metre pool, complete with swan neck waterfalls and swim jets.
