Emirate Palace opens lounge for arriving passengers

We are accustomed to airport lounges for use before departure, but Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi's iconic hotel managed by Kempinski, has opened a lounge at Abu Dhabi International Airport for arriving passengers.
Guests heading for Emirates Palace can now be greeted by hotel representatives and can enjoy snacks, complimentary drinks and ice-cold towels. They are then driven in chauffeured limousines to the Palace, where they are provided with an express check-in.
Emirates Palace, which measures over 1km in length, has been enjoying full occupancy over Easter, according to Janet Abrahams, the Director of Sales & Marketing. 'Throughout the year', she reports, 'there has been an impressive 50% increase in bookings for top-end rooms and suites and we see signs that this trend is set to continue.'
