John Lennon Marriott to be a Crowne Plaza
Kew Green Hotels (KGH), which currently operates 18 hotels under franchise agreements, has acquired the Marriott Hotel Liverpool South at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The 164 bedroom hotel is housed within a magnificent Art Deco building, which was formerly the main airport terminal building. The hotel offers 12 meeting rooms with facilities for up to 280 delegates, complimentary shuttle to the airport and 164 modern bedrooms with luxury bedding, air-conditioning and high speed internet access.
The hotel will continue to operate under the Marriott brand until 31st July 2008, when it will be re-branded as the Crowne Plaza Liverpool John Lennon Airport Hotel, under licence agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group.
KGH is also building a new European-designed Courtyard by Marriott hotel at London Gatwick Airport. Due to open in Spring 2009, the hotel will reflect the international specification of the Courtyard by Marriott hotels found around the world.
