Hilton to manage new hotel in Shenzhen
The Hilton Hotels Corporation has announced that it has signed an agreement with The Great China International Group (GCI) for Hilton to manage the Futian Shenzhen Hotel, a 300-room property in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, just across the border from Hong Kong.
This is the first full service upscale hotel that Hilton has signed in the prosperous financial hub of Shenzhen. The hotel will be located in the Futian district of Shenzhen city, home to the administrative offices of the municipal government and the location of one of China's largest convention centres. Shenzhen enjoys eminence as a tourist centre for culture, exhibitions and trade fairs.

centre and is expected to become an increasingly prominent MICE destination. The property will incude an indoor swimming pool and fitness centre, a business centre with the latest technology and Wi-Fi facilities as well as meeting rooms and private boardrooms.
A 700sqm ballroom will be designed to host extensive corporate events. An all-day dining restaurant will serve extensive Chinese and Western buffets, complemented by two specialty restaurants with private dining rooms, and a Lobby Lounge bar.
