Major enhancement of Thistle Haydock
Thistle Haydock, close to Haydock Park racecourse in Merseyside, is the latest property from Thistle's 33-strong portfolio to receive significant investment as part of the group's re-branding strategy. A £1m makeover is now complete.
The hotel, convenient for Liverpool and Manchester, now claims enhanced hotel design, improved service standards and brand new state-of-the-art facilities throughout.
The hotel's 17 air-conditioned meeting spaces have been renovated and all bedrooms completely refurbished. Four new luxurious suites and 16 deluxe bedrooms have been added. The suites boast king size beds, plasma screen TVs in the bathroom, bedroom and lounge, under-floor bathroom heating, his and hers sinks and Ipod surround sound throughout.

As part of the enhanced Thistle service standards, meetings and events organisers will benefit from a more streamlined enquiry and booking service. The service promises to send them an automatic bedroom upgrade, complimentary Wi-Fi allowing email access throughout the entire hotel and they will be assigned a dedicated contact for the duration of the event.
