Norwood Park is a Georgian mansion in 175 acres of parkland with an 18-hole golf course. In time for a launch at Event UK in September, Maverick Venues has been given the contract to market the property for corporate events and to cater for them. Maverick is already handling four other attractive properties in a similar way, all in the Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire area. They are Prestwold Hall, Sutton Bonington Hall, Noseley Hall and The Queens Head.
Additional amenities at Norwood Park include a cricket pitch and spa treatments. Although there are only 10 bedrooms, there are facilities for larger events, such as parties for 250 or dinners for 150 in the Palladian Coach House.
An unusual team-building activity on offer is apple-juice pressing, using produce from the property's own fruit farm.
