Whisky Masterclasses for team-building

The Albannach Bar and Restaurant is very Scottish, but is located in Trafalgar Square, London. It is now putting its expertise in Scotch Whisky at the disposal of client companies for staff social events, for entertaining business guests or for team-building sessions.
An Albannach Whisky Masterclass is aimed to be 'informative but informal'. It shows how whiskies are made, how to best appreciate their different flavours and characteristics. Expert whisky sommeliers explore different distillers and explain how to differentiate between Highland, Lowland, Campbeltown, Islay and Speyside spirits. The aim is for the guests to be able to distinguish a single malt from a triple distilled blend.
Organisers can choose from four Masterclasses and these can be combined with a canapé reception or a Scottish meal. The à la carte menu includes rabbit terrine, piccalilli, Scotch quail egg; loin of Highland venison, thyme potato cake, parsnip purée and traditional Scottish cranachan dessert with red berries and shortbread.
